About Me

I’m still Eric Martin

My spirit animal is an octopus.

Introvert/Gap Detector/Weirdo

Wanna Get To Know Me?

Eric grew up in Kansas, where he was orphaned through a bizarre and extremely unlikely combination of tornadoes, a minor league hockey team, and a ’77 Chevy Nova. He was adopted by a family of prairie dogs, where he learned how to forage for seeds, avoid hawks, and design logos. Upon reaching adulthood, Eric left the coterie and took to the rural highways. He traversed our great nation, going to Arizona, then Connecticut, then all the way left to California. He eventually settled in Tujunga, CA, where he currently resides with his wife and two sons.

Harlequin Shrimp eat the feet of starfish first, so they can't run away.

They deserve to be haunted.

I roll with RPGs

Ask me about my characters

I’ve met some of my best friends through gaming. (These aren’t my best friends, just the characters I played as with my friends. Though, I’d totally be best friends with a wookie Jedi.)

Dungeons & Dragons

Hegthob, the Hipster-Emo-Grunge-Teen-Half-Orc-Bard. Fought with fists and his war-banjo.

Nuku, Half-Water Elf Pirate Monk. One of the Uncles of Revenge, and a big fan of ham.

Star Wars

I’ve only run these, recently, but my reserve PC, should I ever get to play, is a Wookie with a translator droid head clipped like a water bottle to his bandolier, so he could talk in a stuffy British accent.

Marvel Super-Heroes

NightStalker! A cross between Spider-Man and Nightcrawler, this was my very first role-playing game character. Early high-school days.

Shadowrun

Oh geez, so long ago…some Elf with a katana, some SMGs, and a racing bike. It was high-school.
